Information for public health offices
Here you can find out how our certificates are created and how to verify them.
How a certificate is created
Six points that matter for your assessment.
-
Step 1: Professional approval
Every course version is approved and dated by the professional lead.
-
Step 2: Versioning
The certificate names the version that was passed and lists all learning content in bullet points.
-
Step 3: Minimum learning time and tracking
Learning time is measured; the final questions are only possible afterwards.
-
Step 4: Exam mode
Final questions with a pass mark; retakes only after a waiting period.
-
Step 5: Signature and verification page
Verification online, by PDF comparison or offline with our public key.
-
Step 6: Limits
By default there is no identity check. The name can be compared with an ID document on the verification page.
Verify authenticity
-
Online
Scan the QR code or enter the number – you see the current status, including revocation or replacement.
-
PDF comparison
The file stays on your device; only a checksum is compared with our register.
-
Offline
With our public key and fingerprint – even without this website.
-
Dossier per course
Learning objectives, scope and approval of a course: view or request dossiers.
Continuity commitment
Should hygiene.tattoo cease operating, the verification page for issued certificates will remain available for at least {period}. Our public keys and a downloadable static verification page make verification possible even afterwards.
Question or feedback from a public health office
Questions about a certificate, course content or your requirements – we usually reply within two working days.
If you tell us what your office requires, we will take it into account in our state information.
